IAB Standards CTV Pause Ad ads are horizontal 16:9 still images, measured at 1920×1080 px, up to 1 MB per file, delivered as JPG or PNG. They run in the On content pause placement on IAB Standards. Use these requirements to brief designers, validate uploads, and avoid creative rejections in IAB Standards's ad manager.

Non-intrusive display unit triggered when the viewer pauses CTV content. Remains on screen until the viewer resumes playback. Creative must include a clear brand message readable at typical TV viewing distances (6–10 feet). A QR code for second-screen interaction is recommended.
